99 cents! HOUSE OF HORRORS - AUG. 27 - SEPT. 2!

How could you possibly refuse this charming little guy? He went to a lot of trouble to write all that out for you! It's not easy being skeletal!

Now then, about House of Horrors, the horror stories are very wide-ranging. There is everything from Gothic horror to contemporary, including all sorts of monsters, each with their own story. Even a pedophile has his own story! And when he gets a very special doll and finds out to his utter horror just how unique she is, it's too late!

Ever wonder what taxidermy is like when it goes wrong? Some curious kids find out to their horror all about it. They might not get out of there, but you'll have to read it to see.

Jack the Ripper appears in three stories. You'll see Bram Stoker in Whitby meeting a most erudite vampire and being inspired to write Dracula. That same vampire features in four other stories. I liked him so much I wrote The Blackstone Vampires featuring him!

My favorite character in that series makes his first appearance in this collection! But now I have another favorite character, Erzsebet Bathory, mass murdering, blood bath bather affectionado of my new release, I, Bathory, Queen of Blood is featured in a story wherein a customer goes to the wrong shop and purchases a very expensive item, something that is so unusual, you won't believe it!

There are at least four sci-fi stories, one about the imminent destruction of a planet as observed by the doomed. Like androids, robots? There's a story about them, kind of a nightmare really. And what if there was a tear in another dimension and...the dead came back?

And you know what? There's loads more!

“House of Horrors is a fine addition to my Kindle, and I’m sure I’ll be going to read this again and again…”

“A veritable blood feast for vampire fans everywhere!”

“If you are a fan of horror, you won't want to miss this one!! High marks to Ms. Gill.”

“There are so many different monsters in this book the no matter what your biggest fear is or your favorite one to read about you are gonna find it without fail.”

99 Cents! The Blackstone Vampires Omnibus 8/26 - 9/1

That was how the nightmare began. The madness, the incest, the evil that led her to Blackstone House and the vampires...!

The series spans many human lifetimes because it is the story of vampires. The saga begins in Victorian England and ends there, but takes the reader into Ancient Egypt, Rome and beyond.

You will meet the famous and infamous. Ever wonder what vampire brothels are like? Some Roman emperors liked them! Well, Caligula did, as you will see!

You will also see what sacrifice is all about. Would you give up your soul for love? If you don't think you would, you might change your mind after reading the series!

At the core of it all, is the passion of the vampire. Although, dark--it is deep. It lasts for centuries because the vampire does!

THE HOUSE ON BLACKSTONE MOOR
After discovering her savagely murdered family, Rose Baines is plunged into a nightmare of hell. She is incarcerated in two madhouses, after which she is helped to obtain a position as governess at Blackstone House. Located on haunted moorland, nothing is as it seems for the House and its inhabitants have hideous secrets. There is unimaginable horror there, and love too--love that comes at a terrible price.

UNHOLY TESTAMENT - THE BEGINNINGS
Rose and her children find themselves held captive on a ship staffed by vampires, overseen by the mad and evil demon Eco. The last time Rose saw Eco he tried to destroy the children, and now he tells her he loves her.

“I saw you leave the house that day, Rose. That terrible day you discovered your family butchered. I saw you…”

Eco, believing he has fallen in love with her, pens a confession documenting all sins he has committed during his immortal existence.

From Ancient Egyptian vampire cults, Roman vampire brothels, The Dark Ages, The Crusades, The Black Death of 1348, on to his meeting with the child murderer and former aide to Joan of Arc, Satanist Gilles de Rais, and concluding with his wicked, blood-soaked affair with the Blood Countess herself, Erzebat Bathory. The pages are filled with debauchery, vice and murder – how can one stained with so much blood and evil possibly be trusted?

UNHOLY TESTAMENT - FULL CIRCLE
Vampiric orgies and satanic rites fill the pages of this book. All of the hideous secrets of Blackstone House are revealed. Every evil that Rose Baines was subjected to is closely examined, as are those who committed the worst sins against her.

Rose and her children's ordeal continues. They are still held captive on a ship staffed by vampires, overseen by the demon Eco.

There are more blood-drenched confessions to read. Rose has no choice but to finish the journal. Eco, mad and as unpredictable as ever, can snap at any time. But will he?

The rest of the journal tells of the sick and twisted obsession Eco has had for Blackstone House's former mistress, evil and debauched Eve Darton. There are aristocratic devil rites, both in England and France, including satanic sacrifices. There is the Great Fire of London 1666, plagues, vampire destroyers, witch hunts and resurrection men who supply a necrophile doctor.

The novel comes full circle as all the hideous secrets of Blackstone House are revealed, as are the reasons Rose’s father killed himself and his family.

Eco, first seen in the previous book, has documented all of the sins he has committed during the course of his immortal life. Trying to get Rose to forgive him, he forces Rose to read his journal by holding her children hostage.

Dracula makes his debut. He is a friend of Eco's. He and the other vampires have killed a child's mother.  The dying mother begs Rose to take the child and she does.

THE FOURTH BRIDE
Dia, the child Rose adopted grows to adulthood and marries. But after the tragic and sudden death of her groom, Dia, cursed by Dracula as a babe, is taken to his castle. Once there, she is seduced and turned by the count and becomes his fourth bride. The other brides are to be her sisters. All are to love and feed upon one another. Dia's tale is full of erotic sex and graphic violence. It is a tale of love and lust but mostly of blood, for the blood is everything.

THE AMITYVILLE HORROR OR HOAX?

Firstly, let me begin this post by saying, in my opinion, the horror genre/film and fiction would not exist if true horror didn't exist. Whoever wrote anything more horrible than the Tate LaBianca Murders?

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre actually happens to have been inspired by two cases in Texas as well as Ed Gein of Psycho fame. Psycho, the film and the novel that is.

There have been sadly, a heck of a lot of other horrors that were all too real. That's what this post is about. The tragic murders in Amityville, Long Island that occurred the night an entire family was wiped out. The eldest son is still in prison.

The infamous house in Amityville is at the core of the horror that occurred there. And yes, there was horror. The eldest son blew away every member of his family. They were literally murdered in their beds.

The question arises, why would anyone live there? Would you? I sure as hell wouldn't. But others have and it's their right.

The film purports to tell the horrific story of what happened one night in November, 1974. The film is based on the book by Jay Anson. The book and the films have done well.

What's The Amityville Horror about? We're told all sorts of things but can they be true? What is true is George and Kathy Lutz bought the house 13 months after the murders. They were advised by the agent what had happened there. As a matter of fact some of the DeFeo's furniture was still there.

Things start to happen immeditely and it's pretty scary. We're scared, the Lutzes are scared, their dog is scared. Windows suddenly slam shut, there are flies from hell and the priest, simply trying to bless the house, is nearly driven insane.

Lutz, played by James Brolin starts to look like Butch DeFeo, the killer son. He wakes up every night at 3:15 am ( the time the murders occurred). He starts acting up and seems to develope a particular fondness for an axe.

The Lutzes eventually beat it the hell out of there. Who wouldn't?

So what's the story with the house hoax or no hoax?

This, from LIVE SCIENCE.COM:

Eventually Butch DeFeo's lawyer admitted that he, along with the Lutzes, "created this horror story over many bottles of wine." The house was never really haunted; the terrifying experiences that the Lutzes described, and that were later embellished by Anson and other writers, were simply made up.

http://www.livescience.com/6528-amityville-horror-house-haunted.html

There are actually a string of people who lived in the house over the years who didn't flee in the night, but who stayed and reported nothing unusual every occured.

By the way, the address (112 Ocean Avenue) no longer exists and the house has been remodelled so that the distinctive 'half moon' windows in the rear are no longer there. The curious are not welcome at the property and I can understand why.

What do I think about it all?

From my own personal feelings I would never live in a house that had a mass murder. I just wouldn't. It would bother me too much. I also believe that evil leaves something behind and if this wasn't evil, this mass murder, I don't know what is.

If the whole thing was a hoax to make money, I think that is pretty immoral. Of course we can say that even if that was the intention, that doesn't mean that some sensitive people won't feel something inexplicable within the property.

What I would like to see is the victims of the massacre remembered as victims and not used in any way for any purpose other than to be remembered. The images below are of the parents and the murdered siblings. Butch DeFeo is pictured sitting alongside those he killed.

Erzsebet Bathory lived. Her name could not be spoken for a century after her death. She is the infamous, Blood Countess, believing blood could reverse signs of aging, she killed hundreds. But she was also a sexual sadist and predator. She tortured and murdered at will.

If she was a monster in life, she is a vampire in death, having been raised up by the vampire, Anton. Over time because of his love for her, Anton will become her loyal accomplice and serve her every murderous whim and rage-fuelled insane act.

Review:

***** A Blood-Soaked Rendition of The Fictional Life Of A Real-Life Multiple Murderer, History's 'Countess Dracula.'

As one blood-soaked page follows another we are pulled further and further into the depths of depravity to which Bathory is prepared to sink in order to fulfill her wildest sexual fantasies and murderous lusts.
Be warned! This is not a book for the squeamish or for those who object to the use of strong sexual language. It is here aplenty as is necessary when dealing with a character as sexually depraved and corrupt as Bathory.

Ms Gill is first and foremost a writer of horror and that is what she excels at, and here she has I feel, surpassed her earlier efforts by a long way. I, Bathory is her best yet, I say that quite unequivocally...

An Immortal Sexual Sadist and Serial Killer?

That's what made me write this book. Erzsebet Bathory, known as The Blood Countess was, indeed, a human monster. That's why the Author's Note is in the front of the book, to serve as a warning! Her crimes were horrific plus she held absolute power in 16th Century Hungary!

I read a number of books about her over the years and, as I write horror, I thought, in the great tradition of the writer: what if?  What if she was immortal and existed in modern times? What would she be doing? That gave me my story. To illustrate my point here are two excerpts:

"Time passed quickly because we were so busy. The films we had started making years ago, we eventually turned back to—only the new ones would soon be called something else. They would come to be called snuff films. Those films were dangerous for they were filled with murder...real savage murder. I still remember each frame, each close-up of a girl succumbing to death. I was worried about seeing too many. I didn’t want the rages to start or my sadistic murderousness to once again rise up. “It is worse,” I said, “than when I lived.” I believed this and so did you..."

"we went about filming masked vampires whipping humans. Lucerne got heavily involved in her acting—and so did I. But then there was an extra ingredient that started quite by accident. Some drainings happened by mistake. Yes, fatal drainings. As we feared any evidence of these crimes coming to light and reversing the legality of vampirism, we knew we had to dispose of the bodies. This, we did..."

End of excerpts.

The term 'serial killer' is modern. The old term would be 'mass murderer.' The only comfort we have is we know these people don't exist forever. But what if they did?!

"As one blood-soaked page follows another we are pulled further and further into the depths of depravity to which Bathory is prepared to sink in order to fulfill her wildest sexual fantasies and murderous lusts..."

His Main Squeeze!

Hi folks, did it again! A horror writer's homage to romantic fiction. It's spoofy and I had fun writing it.

“Gardenia, you will adore him. He is so sexy; he’ll make your toes curl!”

Gardenia looked perplexed, not an uncommon expression for her. “But I just got new shoes, they won’t fit with curled toes!”

Jocelyn smiled frozenly. “You’re kidding, right?”

Gardenia sighed. Sighs were always forthcoming when thinking was in progress. “Well, sure!” she lied. “Silly!”

Her friend felt relieved. Not a lot, not as much as if she believed her. “Tad Boulder is starting Monday, I just got word from personnel. Wait till you see him. I think he’s more your type than mine.”

Jocelyn didn’t really mind. She was still with Horst Wowzenheimer. A man who never flaunted anything unless his Y FRONTS were off.

She wanted Gardenia to date again. Poor kid had been dumped by her boyfriend. He said ten blocks was too far to travel to see her. What a loser he turned out to be. Still, he was kind of cute in a slightly creepy way. Well, working for his uncle's funeral home was never a major turn on.

Yes, Jocelyn reasoned, her friend should have at the very least, a one-night stand or even half a one-night stand. She felt it would do her good, in fact she was thinking of loaning Horst out to her, but that was kinky. Still, it was a thought. What an unselfish act that would be!

Little grey cells or even big grey cells did not tend to dominate either friend. But Jocelyn had at least managed to read an entire book recently. Only twenty pages, but still, and the words were multi-syllable and everything!

Fate took a hand. Both friends didn't know how to get this thing going--but then it just happened. Gardenia caught him changing his shirt. He smiled at her when he saw her staring at his six pack abs. "I work out a lot." That was said so humbly, even though he did pause a few times before putting on the dry shirt. "Air conditioning broke down, what a bummer."

She nodded, speechless and filled with wonder and a great urge to check him out all over. But he was taken with her as well. That was what made it all the more exciting.

In truth, he had her sized up right. 34 DD. He could tell, it was something he was expert at. If they gave out doctorates for that sort of skill, he'd have attained one for sure!

If she wowed him, her private bits were all throbbing! Better than leaning against the washing machine when it was in the spin cycle. What a hunk! Aside from his build, his eyes fascinated her. What struck Gardenia most about them was, he had two and they were both the same color! And he didn’t blink too much. Not like Mr. Gorkin, her old history teacher. He must have blinked a thousand times a minute. Poor guy. But that was then and this was now!

Tad had immediately asked her out for a cappuccino. She tried to look interested in everything he said, just as Jocelyn advised. When he spoke about his landlady raising the rent, Gardenia looked amazed. “Oh, that’s so not good! Goodness! Whatever will you do?!”

Tad’s handsome tanned face twitched with emotion, yet he still managed a broad smile revealing his perfect white teeth. “It’s annoying but it’s only five dollars a month increase. I think she likes me!” he winked.

She looked startled, worried for him. “Five is still five! Can you manage it?”

He fell in love with her from that very moment. She was caring and sweet. Gorgeous and kind. He couldn’t wait to see her naked. So when he took her home, he could hardly believe his luck when she asked him in.

They were in each other’s arms in a second. No, less really—less because they had more or less walked the two blocks from Starbuck’s that way, so much so, a few funsters called out: “You guys glued together?”

When he began kissing her ‘like a woman ought to be kissed,’ she whispered, “Don’t! Don’t! Then in the next breath, “Don’t…Don’t stop! Don’t ever stop!”

“I won’t,” he swore. And he didn’t. As a matter of fact, they had to call for an ambulance. The two were carried out on a stretcher still in each other’s arms. Truth be told, they were in the clinches, too!

“Better throw a blanket over these two love birds!”

So, they did. Happily, they still had vital signs, although one paramedic was pleasantly surprised.
What he had seen in his career!

Noir Horror!

I wrote this just for fun. I was such a big fan of noir films and books, Raymond Chandler, James M. Cain--anyway, I wrote this horror/noir! It's spoofy and fun!

Toothsome Came the Vampire!

My secretary told me. "There's a lady to see you. I think you're gonna want to see her!"

Josie, all smirky and long looks showed this babe in. I gave her the once over twice.

"What can I do for you." I was all cheesy grin. What killed it was her. She smiled and flashed the longest incisors I ever saw. That could be a problem I thought.

"You've been highly recommended, Mr. Spillstreet. Some of the undead remember how you helped them after they were turned. That's why I'm here."

"Gee, that's nice.”

“Yeah and that's not all. You see Mr. Spillstreet, there's this guy I want you to find for me. He turned me and left me flat. The first year of a vamp's existence is the hardest and it ain't no good when you get dumped. Do you think you can help me?"

I asked her if she wanted a scotch  and she laughed. “What's that on your face, cut yourself shaving?” She asked, licking her lips.

I thought of Dracula with Bela Lugosi and dropped my cigarette. She offered me one of hers. "They're specially made for me, kind of moist. You might not like them, it's an acquired taste.”

I reached for it. I had to. Something was making me do it. I knew I'd be sorry and frankly I didn't care. If I went the blood sucker route so what? 'Course I'd have to change my hours…
